Privacy policy

This policy explains how Dixel Media handles personal information when you use our website, forms, workshops and digital services.

Last updated:

1. Responsibility and contact

Dixel Media is responsible for information received through this website for its own activities. Contact us at contact@dixelmedia.com or +1 (772) 259-3673. When processing information on behalf of a client, we follow the instructions and agreements applicable to that service; requests about that information should be directed to the responsible client.

2. Information we receive

We may receive your name, email, telephone number, company, professional information, registration responses, messages and project details you share. Account features use authentication information. Technical data, including IP addresses, browser information and session identifiers, is also processed to operate the site and prevent abuse. Do not submit passwords, medical records, sensitive information or third-party data through forms or demonstrations without appropriate authorization and a suitable channel.

3. How information is used

We use information to answer inquiries, prepare proposals, manage registrations and workshops, provide support and deliver requested services. Technical information supports website security, operation and understanding of usage. Promotional communications require any applicable authorization; you may ask us to stop sending them. Visiting the website does not authorize every type of processing or marketing communications.

4. Authorization and legal grounds

We will request prior, informed authorization when required by applicable law. Information may also be processed to meet legal obligations or where another applicable legal ground permits it. We only request information relevant to the stated purpose.

5. Providers and external services

The website integrates Firebase for authentication and storage features, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention and Google Tag Manager for tag management. When you follow links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn or other external services, their own policies also apply. Providers involved in a feature may process information in other countries; international processing must observe applicable legal safeguards and requirements. Information may also be disclosed when required by a competent authority.

6. Cookies and local storage

The website uses session and browser storage technologies, including a local identifier for chat conversations. Google Tag Manager loads tags whose use of cookies depends on their configuration. You can delete or restrict cookies and local storage in your browser; some features may stop working. Optional technologies require your consent where applicable. This policy does not replace that consent.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as necessary for its purpose and applicable contractual or legal obligations. You may request details about retention or ask for deletion; some obligations may require retaining certain information. We apply technical and organizational measures to limit unauthorized access, although no system guarantees absolute security.

8. Your rights and requests

You may request free access to your information, learn how it is used, update or correct it and, where applicable, request deletion or withdraw authorization. You may also request evidence of authorization and exercise other rights under applicable law. Email contact@dixelmedia.com with the subject “Privacy”, identify your relationship with Dixel Media and describe your request. We may request the minimum information needed to verify your identity. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Where Colombian law applies, you may contact the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce after completing the required prior procedure.

9. Children

The website and services are intended for adults and organizations. If you believe a child has provided personal information without the necessary authorization, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

10. Updates

We will publish policy changes on this page and display the update date. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, and new authorization will be requested when necessary.
